Fast food and home-cooked meals

Fast food and home-cooked meals

Modern times People would like to eat fast food almost daily. They are so busy and it is so convenient to eat any time. Anyway, those people like to eat fast food without paying attention to their health. Someone says that it is not bad for health to eat fast food. However, modern times so many people are getting fatter, have diseases such as cancer. My wife and I have been talking about which food is better for health for the past 5 years. Because we have paid attention to our health when we became 40, we thought and discussed for a long time. Therefore, we have found many differences between fast food and home-cooked meals. I will share some of our discussion to show the differences.

First, we thought about the amount of salt fast food contain. Some people like to eat food salty; on the other hand, other people like to eat food slightly salty. However, Most people like to eat salty food. Usually salty food let people think that the food is delicious. Therefore, fast food sellers make food which is salty for their profit not for human’s health. People know that salt is not good for human beings, but they still eat it to satisfy their hunger. Many doctors and scholars proved and said that salt is not good for human beings, and it contributes to many kinds of diseases. But, people eat salty food with no or pay little attention.

Second, fast food is spicier than home-cooked meals. People like to eat spicy food because spiced food is enhanced taste. Especially hot pepper spiced food attracts people to eat food and capture people’s mind. Therefore, people like to eat spiced food, and many kinds of spices are not good for our health, too. It hurts the stomach, colon. Many Korean people really like to hot pepper spicy food daily life, and as a Korean, I enjoy spicy food for a long time. So, we have inflammation of the stomach.

Finally, fast food is so high in calories and has low quality fat, therefore, it is expensive to maintain a good and health lifestyle. Selling at a low price, fast food makers use high calorie and low quality fat. Therefore, most fast food has more high calorie ingredients than low calorie food like vegetable. High calorie food make us gain weight. But, home-cooked meals contain mostly low calorie food. Because housewife(or husband) pays attention to their family`s health, he/she cooks low calorie food. Fatness occurs in all kinds of diseases such as glucosuria.

In the end, my wife and I decided that we will eat home-cooked meals as possible as we can choose for our health. Fast food gives us convenience to eat at anytime, especially at very busy times. Sometimes to eat fast food is much cheaper, and gives us a simpler lifestyle. It is sometimes difficult to prepare home-cooked meals. However, when we think about our health and future of growing children, we will not eat fast food. When we are healthy, we have to protect our health. The choice is ours.

DOWN IN THE COUNTRY

My mother`s hometown Seyhan River is famous for several amazing natural features. First, it is noted for the Seyhan River which is very wide and beautiful. Also, on the other side of the town is Toros Hill, which is unusual because it is very steep. Even though it is steep, climbing this hill is not dangerous, because there are some firm rocks along the sides that can be used as stairs.
There are many willow trees which have long branches that can move gracefully in the wind. The third amazing feature is the Big Mosque. This mosque builds 200 hundred years ago. These three landmarks are truly amazing and make my hometown a famous place.
Also my father`s hometown Ceyhan is infamous about nature. First, it is noted for the Ceyhan River which is very contaminated water. There are no trees around this river so it stands messy against the rock around cant walk from many miles away .Also, on the other part of non essential factory. The third bad harm corrupt air.

Because of for me amazing town my mother`s town.

Home- Cooked Meals and Fast Food

Most people like to do what ever their love when their have time. For me, I love to eat!! I love to make my home- cook meals at home, and I sometimes go out to eat at Fast Food restaurant. Home- cooked meals and Fast food have several thing different in my opinion, I think home- cooked meals are test better than fast food, more healthier and easy to go with your busy life.

First, home make-cooked meals are test better than fast food because you can cook your old food with all ingredient you like. You can make your food what ever test you love. For example, if you want to make Mix Vegetable with Chi ken, you can put Broccoli, carrot, onion and basil because that are all vegetable you like to eat. In other way, when you go to order pizza from fast food. Most of the time, your pizza are already make. You can not should what ingredient you like or which test you want they to make for you.

Second, home make-cooked meals are more healthier than fast food. For example, if you make stem fish with garlic, you will get 350 calories for this dish, vitamin A and D , Omega 3, and gallic help your body low blood coresteral. All every thing in this dish are good for your body but if you order Big Mac you will get 550 calories for a berger and in 550 calories , 220 calories is fat !!

Finally, Home maked-cook meals are easy to apply in your busy life. For example, if you cook Green pasta with shrimp dinner for your family tonight why don you make a letter bit more, and take that with you for lunch at work tomorrow instead of run to Mac Donal and buy a berger.

You will decide what is good for your life and fit in your time but for me home make- cooked meal is better that fast food in many way.

Hamburger and Bossam

Hamburger and Bossam
A Koreans’ favorite dish, “Bossam”

The most and, at the same time, the least familiar thing in a foreign country may be food. When I visited some foreign countries to try some dishes of those countries, it almost made me very curious in one way, and in another way when I encountered some strange stuff, I felt some nausea. But, as for American food, I had already had many of them even before I came to America and there was nothing new about American fast food to me when I got in Chicago. But, ironically, as a foreigner these foods still don't make me feel comfortable whenever I try it. One fast food meal may be O.K., but more than that will be a disaster for my stomach. One of them is hamburger. Strangely, As a Korean, we eat burger-like stuff called bossam. Seemingly hamburger and bossam don't look similar, but, in fact, they are much more different and I will let you know how hamburger and bossam are similar and different and why Koreans do like bossam so much.

First, these two foods share many common things. Instead of bread, we eat rice. To make a hamburger, you put vegetables and meat between the bread, but for bossam we wrap meat, rice and some sauce in lettuce or other vegetables. So the total kinds of ingredients are similar; carbohydrate from the bread for hamburger and from rice for bossam. Both use meat and some kinds of usual vegetables like lettuce, onion, or tomato. So except the taste of the sauces used for both you can expect somewhat similar taste from them.

On the other hand, hamburger and bossam are quite different. Hamburger uses a fried meat pad, but bossam uses boiled meat in marinated water. In addition, we use hot red pepper sauce called kochujang, but hamburger uses some sweet American sauce like honey mustard. Kochujang is really hot. Furthermore, many people like to add some garlic or sliced green onions or premature red pepper itself. Therefore, bossam can be much hotter and many Eastern Asians or some Central Americans like Mexicans will love it because of its strong spices.

Finally, hamburger sometimes is called a junk food because it has too many calories, but has little good nutrients. In fact many researches report that having this kind of fast food on a daily basis may bring up great problems in one’s lives. On the other hand, bossam is called a kind of well-being food. First, the meat is boiled and it has very low level of cholesterol, and people will have various kinds of vegetables and herbs at the same time. Many vegetables work against the malfunction of cholesterol of the meat and some of the herbs have some medical effects themselves. So, it is really good for many people and it is healthy.

Some said, “If you want to know a culture, try some of their foods in the culture.” In that way, we can really see what the people of the specific culture value through their food culture. We value healthy and balanced life. Traditionally, we have cooked food through boiling, not frying. As one single culture cannot be perfect, nor can one single food culture be perfect. If we know more about our food and health, our life will be richer and our body will be healthier. Therefore, we have many reasons to try and know each other's food for fun and for health in this melting-pot society.

The life styte in my hometown and in the US

Do you miss your hometown life style ? Do you always work long hours here in the US and don't have time to eat with your family. About me, I came to the US 2 years ago. The life style in the US has a lot of defferent things from my hometown.
First , all people are independent. Once you are 18 years old, you don't have to depend on your parents. They can do anything they want to do. But in my hometown, a child must depend on his/her parents, he/she has to live with their parents, they can't live alone if they don't get marrid yet.
Second, older people in the US, generally live alone or in a nursing home which is quite different from older people. In my country, they will unhappy if they can't live with their family.
Finally, the most major difference in family (time) eatting together. In the US, the family doesn't have time to eat nor talk to each other because they have to work all day/long hours. The wife and husband work different time/shift, sometimes they are too busy . They don't have time for their child. when they come back home, their child is already sleeping. But in my hometown, the life isn't too busy, people work less hours. Usually their child stay with grandmother/ grandfather when the parents are working. They have time to eat dinner, talk and watch TV to together. They have a close relationship because they spend more time with their than American do.
In conclusion, although i am living in the US, i am independent but i still like the life style in my hometown because the life in my hometown is more peaceful than in the US, you have more time than for your family, you will feel really happy

---my city ANKARA---

i lived in this city almost 20 years.i have too many memory over there most of the i misscrowded squares i think because now i am living in chicago and in this city not too manyintense places on the other hand peoples, they are not friendly here in chicago they are littlebit cold each other offcourse something nice in the chicago for example transportation systemcity has a lot of train line and they call every line like different color for ex (blue line, brown line..)finally in usa is life is more regular and laws are working over here i am upset about that buti cannot say same thing for my city or country.

Fast Food and Home-Cooked Meal

Fast food And home- cooked meals have several things different in my opinion. First, fast food is quick and easy to eat. For example, you will get Big Mac in 2 minuets after you order, and you may be finish your meal in 15 minuets then go back to work in the afternoon !! Home - cooked meals always take time to prepare even thong you make a simple meals. For example, if you want to make Vege omelet, you have to cut all vegetable and mix with the eggs. It take 15 minuets for only this step. Second, I believe home- cooked meals is always test better then fast food. For example, if you have pizza for lunch, and you come back home have spaghetti with meat ball from your Mom kitchen, you will test the different !! Finally home-cooked meal is healthy then fast food. If you make stem fish with garlic, you will get 350 calories for this dish but you will get 550 calories for only a Big Mac that bad for your body. How ever, I think, It is depend in you opinion, time and place that you will decide what is good for you.

compare to lifestyle.

compare to lifestyle.
Nowadays, we are live in the earth, our earth has a lot of countries. Countries create their own mythical reality construct about how they see themselves and how hey want other countries to see them. I have a citizenship that from South Korea. l had lived in my country for 25 years and I have been living United states for almost 6 months. It depend, but l felt that It’s totally differents as like custom, food-style and whatever between South korea and United states. I will explain that why does different lifestyle between America and my country with my experiances.First, there is a large family system in South Korea. Second, Unite states has a huge region that has made with 50 states, and varities weather. Other Difference is a lower cost or standard of living between South Korea and United states of America.

First of all, there is a large family system in South Korea, but people who support themselves system in America. There is a restricted life style in South Korea, but a free life style in America. American also has a variation in cultures as compared to South Korea. In South Korea there is a group mind set but individual mind set in America. For example, I had lived with over 10 familytil i was 12 years. Almost korean people lived with big family system, we were worked together, and ate foods together. so we did not had a individual behavior.

Second of all, In America has varities weather because of has a huge region. In other hand, Korea is a very smaller than America. In Korea weather has divide by 4 seasons as like spring, summer, fall, and winter. otherwise, In America weather is different from South koera depend on regions. That why to build the house shape or wearing the clothes are differents.

Finally , Difference is a lower cost or standard of living in South Korea. An important difference is safer because most people can not have guns, but in America many people can own guns. Because of the differences I think South Korea is a better place to live than America. For example, Three months ago, I was went to pick my friend up in the midnight.l was parked the my car nearby my friend house and then waited him. During the waited timeI was slept in my car. Few later someone who knocked my car and l woke up .I thought that my friend knocked to me, but two rubber stolen my wallet and cell phone usingthier guns. It was very terrible experience in my American life.

In conclusion, South Korea and United states has totally differents about lifestyle. First, our country has large family than U.S. Second, U.S. has bigger region than South Korea. Finally, Difference is a lower cost or standard of living.

Urban city and countryside area

More than sixty five percents of people in my survey wanted to live in countryside area rather than urban city. In their opinion, the more time they live in countryside area, the more healthy benefits they have in common. Imagine that we are living in the farm that have a large field of grass and several trees on it, and this field is circled by a two feet’s fence. We have a clear visible to look far away to the wild mountain. We can breathe a fresh air that coming out from those trees and grasses. Furthermore, by raising some animals in the farm is a great deal for eating fresh. We do not have to worry about harmful chemicals in the foods that always have in the modern manufacture nowadays. On the other hand, we have to be stressed so much by living in an urban city, because we will face with many high building after coming out from our house. So, it also brings us a polluted air and something else is containminated. Moreover, we will maintain our life by eating frozen food in the refrigerator. Finally, people nowadays concern about healthy and safety a lot compare with many years ago and living in countryside is the most wanted choice for people even if they live in the city.

living in the city versus living in countryside

I lived in contryside when I was child, and i have been in city since 1998. But like staying at countryside. There are good something when you living at suburbs. In fact, every things Is good or not good depend on your favours . So we need find out somethings that is living in the city versus living in the contryside.
Benefit is staying in city .First things, When you get up, if you’re hungry what are you doing??? I need some food, right!!. If you live in city you can buy some food anytime. But if you live in countryside, you have to cook by yourself. Seconds thing, today I want a party with my friend I have to drive several hours .What is a boring job! Living in city is convenience because there are a lot of restaurents and amusing places to enjoin them. y the way you can save your time.
Damage is staying in city. My brother said he usually disturbed by the truck, allbulam, neibourhood… he seldom had a good sleep. And durty air, crowded street, traffic jam. At countryside you can relax.. fresh air so you can protect your health. but there is much polutted air in city. if you have time you can grew vegetable at the gardent, fresh food is good. you dont have to pay for parking and food is cheaper. So everything is less expensives. that mean you save your money.
In conclude, living in the city is convenient and save your time, funny and bustling but hight expensives, living in the countryside is good health, saving money, relaxing but boring. i like to living in the countryside. I think living in the contryside is match for old couples

Mac Vs Pc

There are several distinct differences between a Pc that is running a version of Windows and a Mac computer that is running a version of the Mac operating system. There is a long-standing debate between which computer is "better," but it really comes down to personal preferences and how the computer is used.
One of the differences is,hardware. In the past, the heart of the difference between a Mac and a PC came down to the hardware. A personal computer was built on the IBM microprocessor. Macintosh computers were based on the PowerPC architecture. Hardware that would work with a PC would not work with a Mac. Since 2006, Macs are built on the Intel architecture, the same as a PC. However, the hardware that is used by Apple computers is stringently tested and quality-controlled. You can purchase and install many different types of hardware, from network cards to video cards to motherboards, on PCs. Apple Computers have a limited number of hardware devices that will work correctly together.
Other difference between Macs and PCs is their operating systems. Mac computers use the Mac OS. The Mac OS is the reason many Mac users prefer Macs to PCs. While PCs can run Windows XP, Windows Vista and Linux, Mac computers typically run the Mac OS exclusively. It’s possible to install Windows on a Mac machine in a dual-boot configuration, but most Mac users prefer the Mac OS and rarely use Windows. Conversely, it’s next to impossible to install the Mac OS on a Windows system.
Other major difference between PCs and Macs is that Macs have only one mouse button (instead of two on PCs). You can still "right-click" using a Mac, but you must hold down the 'ctrl' button on the keyboard before clicking with the mouse button. Additionally, Macs have different command buttons on their keyboards than PCs do. Macs have an Apple/Command key, which is used for keyboard shortcuts, such as copy and paste or opening a new Internet browser window. Even though a Mac keyboard has a Control key, it's used in different ways. The Apple/Command key is basically the equivalent of a Control key on a PC keyboard. Behind the those things, the biggest difference between Mac and PC is the price tag. Macs are typically seen to be more expensive than PC's. This is because Macs are only sold only by Apple Computers and there is a limited number of hardware devices that are compatible with the computers. PC's are sold by multiple companies, such as Dell, Acer and Toshiba. Consumers have the option to shop for the best price, and the manufacturers compete to keep the prices low. It is also possible to build your own PC using various manufacturers' hardware. PC's, therefore, have a wide range of prices from very low-end to very high-end. If you’re looking for an inexpensive system for home office or student use, a PC is definitely the cheaper option. However, if you’re looking for a simple, stable operating system and software that does what you want it to do without requiring you to jump through a lot of hoops, a Mac might be worth the higher cost.

Fast Food is not good!

In modern world, Many People are enjoying a Fast Food, but is it o.k? I think Fast Food is a one of enemies of modern people, So we have to eat home cooked meals !

First, According to views of Fast Food companies, Fast Food is a just product, It is not for eat They selves, So ingredients of Fast food are have to cheap and easy to get, But home cooked meals are diffrent, Because If we make a food at home, probabley it will be a our meal, so we have more sincerity to make than fast food companies

Another reason is Flavor, most people enjoying Fast food because of Flavors, But These Flavors are made from chemical additive, so it is definitely bad for your health , but home cooked meals are diffrent , probably home cooked meals are would be less flavor than fast food , but it's not bad, it means less chemical additive than Fast food

Finally, Fast food is have too much salt for eat too, it will be lead you in Hypertension
Probably Home cooked meals are have possibility of too much salty too, but If it salty
you can Fix it, but you can't fix the amount of salt in Fast food

In the end, Fast Food is very bad fod your health, so we should eat home cooked meals !

INDIAN and USA life style

In India, the interaction with neighbors is very informal. The relations with the neighbors are just like family members who can come and go anytime, especially if you are living in a colony. Here it is not like that. You will hardly find any neighbors to talk to. Mostly, people leave their homes in the morning and come back in the evening except weekends.
Weekends:
In India typically Sunday is the only holiday. However, in USA, there are two days in a week which are off, Saturday and Sunday. On weekdays, people are busy at work and weekends are meant to enjoy, take care of household stuff, socializing etc.
Servants or maids:
One thing you will miss here for sure and that is having servants or maids. Here all the work has to be done to by yourself whether it is washing utensils to getting the groceries to lifting your own stuff whether it is heavy or light etc etc.!! Here people take pride in doing their work no matter even if its a menial or a skillful job. You will find people fixing their own cars, doing gardening, lawn mowing etc.

Convenience:

USA has some very good systems to offer. Here you dont have stand in a line to pay any bills. Everything can be done on phone or via internet or by post whether it is paying electricity, phone, insurance payments etc. If you want to invest in shares and do trading, even that is possible via internet!! One thing is for sure that life is much more convenient here as compared to India.

Daylight Saving:
All watches are reset twice every year (viz. April and October), in order to make the maximum use of the day light.
Restaurants :
In most of the restaurants you will find buffet. At buffets, it is a custom to use a fresh plate for each next serving. Leave the earlier one at the table itself, server will clear it up. When you want a drink without ice, say "No Ice", and not "Without Ice". At fast food joints, you would be asked if the food is for "Here" or "To Go"? "Here" means to have there itself, and "To Go" means packed/ parceled
When police /cop stops you :
Follow speed signs carefully. If you are caught speeding, you will fined. If a cop (police officer) asks you to stop while you are driving, just stop the car at the right side of the road, and wait inside. Never get out of the car. Cop may consider it as an offense, and might shoot you for self defense.

Electrical and Electronic devices
There is a difference in Electricity and Video technology in both the countries. In case you want to buy any Electronic/ Electrical/ Cellular phone system for the purpose of Indian use, consider the following points
Electrical devices like hair dryer, microwaves, music system, laptops etc may not work in India if bought from the US and vice versa. The electricity voltage in USA is 110-120 volts and in India, it is 220-240 volts.
Alternate solution: You can buy converters

which convert electricity according to the location.
Video systems such as TV, VCR, Camcorder video cassettes etc have NTSC system and in India it is PAL-B. If you are bringing a VHS, VCR from India, it may not work in the US and vice versa.
Telephone systems, chargers, musical instruments can work as it is by changing the power adaptors according to the location (whether in India or in the US)
Wireless phones bought from the US may not work in India or vice versa

That I feel Korean lifestyle and U.S lifestyle is difference.

My U.S lifestyle is much different from my lifestyle back home.

I came from Korea about two months ago. My U.S lifestyle is much different from my lifestyle back home. The first time I was very confused. But now I got to much better than before.

The bigger difference that I had felt is recycling. Koreans are good at recycling. But almost Americans do not recycle well. Koreans do various recycling such as can, paper, plastic and many others. And they have various recycling goods. But Americas has only one waste. Of course, I know that it tries to recycle in U.S government. However, it seems not to be powerful effect.
So, in my opinion, new methods are likely to need.

First, I think that U.S need ceaseless public information to attract interest of people.
Government make advertisement and must show T.V and radio and magazine. So, people should think that I need recycling.

Second, U.S needs education about recycle.
School and home at teach the recycle for kids. And company and public institution need teach the recycle for peoples.

We should do recycling certainly. In the and, recycling is a help for me.
I want U.S to recycle more like Korea.

My lifestyle in my country and here in the U.S.A.

Lifestyle is very difficult and different. Everyone has a other lifestyle. For me: I has a lot of similar and different in my lifestyle at the my hometown and here.
My lifestyle is very interest and happy, so sometimes it is very boring and tiring. The fist reson make of my lifestyle is change that is culture of two country. In the my country, when i went to school. I need to wear white long shirt. In here, this country is very freedom, so i can wear anything i like when i went to school. But both countries have some school well. Second reasons, In the U.S.A has full 4 seasons that is spring, summer, fall, and winter, but special, In America, the winter is very cold with snow. My contry just has two seasons that is summer and rain. The weather is warm all the year in my hometown. They makemy lifestyle change a lot. So the summer is warm anywhere. Finally, the language which make for me difficult in my lifestyle. My hometown, i has a my language. it is easy for me do somethings. in here, English is a my second language.it makes to me difficult communication in my lifestyle. i have to change alot for my life. i need to learn and change in my lifestyle because this is very different and difficult in my life. I hope i will to cope suitably with anything at the U.S.A. i think i have a good life here. right now, i know :"What am i have to do?". I love my lifestyle in the U.S.A and in the my hometown.

My lifestyle in my country and here in the U.S.A.

CATS VS. DOGS

I woke up one beautiful morning and my parents came to me with a wonderful idea - they decided to buy me a pet... I had a choice - dog or cat. They are very different animals and they have different attitudes, needs, and habits. First, dogs will not question authority and they will, after some training, do exactly what they are told to do. Cats, in contrast, do not even listen the owner, they are doing whatever they want to do. Another huge difference is that dogs require a lot of attention, and they will make sure their owners are aware of it. They need to be watched constantly and must be taken regularly for walks. Cats are quite independent, and they do not require much attention over and above regular feeding and regular cleaning of the litter box. Finally, dogs are more friendly pets than cats, they will not betray an owner. In the end I decided to buy a dog and it was the best choice I could do.

THE END!!! :))))

City vs Countryside

Many people always discussion about living in big city and living in countryside, some people said they like to live in city and some people like to live in countryside but for my opinion I think living in the country side is better then living in city. first, living in the countryside are more peace and quiet and green, so you can breath the fresh air every day and people more nice and friendly and helpful and most of them living in they own house, so it cost cheapper to living in the countryside. you can grow the food and have a farm. so most of people who live in the countryside are healthy and relexing. On the other side, living in the city is cost more money to live because everything is kind of expensive. people who live in city not really friendly and helpful. most of palce you go always busy. I really like to live in countryside more then live in city.

There are some differences between fast food and home-cooked meal. Firstly , everybody knows that home-cook meals are beneficial for our health compared to fast food. You can choose fresh ingredians while you cannot do when you buy food from a fast-food restaurant. Most of fast food are full of fat and carbohydrate. Secondly , fast foods are ready-to-eat meals. Whatever leaves from a kitchen is already cooked. You cannot even cook or add some ingredients which you like. That means what you can do is just some have those food with a side of sauce. On the other hand , Cooking at home gives you a chance to put some chilli , pepper or salt as much as you want. You can spend time on it until you thing you think you have perfect taste. However , both fast food and home-cooked meals give us a different style to have them. For example , when you have a road trip , surely you do not have much time for preparing your meal. So fast food really meets your requirement on this day. However , when you have to have dinner with your family , home-made meal seems to be a perfect choice for this situation.

Great time in Terelj

One summer, I went to Terelj, Ulaanbaatar with my family. That was two days traveling. The Park was situated at 80 km north east of UlaanBaatar, and is a very popular area with the locals on a weekend. It took us nearly two hours to drive from the capital as the roads were pretty bad. That is national park , and Inside the park, there were ranges of protected animals such as birds, moose, and bears. Terelj has a many great opportunities and such a beautiful place. It was the typical Mongolian ger tent. The GER tent was spacious and could accommodate a minimum of four persons per tent. Inside there was a wooden stove to heat the tent up. In the morning a worker entered the tent while we were still sleeping to put more wood inside. It is great so as I woke up it was really warm. We ordered the Mongolian traditional food, Boodog .That is one of my favorites. Boodog is made from goat or marmot meat. Then, in the skin all the meat that are cut into pieces and bones are put together with specially heated stones. Meanwhile, salt, water, and other spices are added. When everything is put in, the upper opening from which the head is separated is tied well and placed over an open fire. During this time, the outside of the skin or wool is burnt; therefore, it needs to be rubbed off. Within three hours, the meat is cooked both from the inside and outside. Food was provided it was mainly soups and delicious dishes. After the lunch, we went to see Melkhi Khad. One of the best places which is wonderful to see was The Turtle Rock, or called Melkhi Khad .We took some funny pictures. That was my unforgettable time. That was amazing. I'm proud that grows in Mongolia. We decided to rent a horse. We can ride pretty well, and we raced. My father at first, me at second, and my sister and my mother at third for the race. But at the end my hip was hurt because I had not ridden horse for a long time. My mother offered us home made yoghurt, biscuits and airag. Airag is kind of alcoholic. I like airag very much; all Mongolians like airag. We were relieved to finally rest our legs from our long, exciting day. I didn't want to go back to home. .. In my opinion everyone needs to travel with family. Getting out the city's nervous life, spend some time with their children, is more important. It's part of our life.
This is descriptive essay.Terelj has a great opportunity and such a beautiful place is this strong enough? And tell me what else I need work on that?Thank u

PSYCHOLOSOPHY!

Psychology and philosophy are similar to one another in many ways. By definition, Psychology is the study of behavior and motivation as well as thoughts, feelings, etc. Philosophy is only about opinions or thoughts. Philosophy asks questions similar to how psychology asks questions about humans. Philosophy discusses life while psychology studies life. Philosophy addreses questions concerning the reason mankind makes the decisions he has in the past and psychology continues to address why mankind act the way they do. A class in philosophy or psychology will be similar in nature because they study life in general. Psychology and philosophy are two differennt topics but kind of link in a way that i cant really explain or fully acknowledge.depending on your interest whether you like to study truths and principles, along with knowledge and conduct or study mental states of human behaviour.I guess both will you help you in life, but when it comes to my personal preference, i think I'd go with "psycholosophy"☺☺☺☺☺, because it is really hard to dtermine what to use, so id rather combine the two.
Fast Food

Today I and Myfriends we are talking about fast food. Because we have a short time break to have lunch. And we went to Burger King to get some food. We really don't like fast food but we rather have fast food. Becase we don't have much time to make lunch or go to restaurant. The fast food is cheaper. Just olny $5-6. On the other hand, i thought the home-cooked meals are heathier than the fast food is. Because i can cook whatever i want to cook such as vegetable or rice and no fat. Anyway, if i don't have much time i will rather have fast food .

MY LIFESTYLE

People usually have change about lifestyle. When you have leaving in your country, everything never change. Have you find a new lifestyle? You and We can do it! In my mind, I always have new lifestyled. But it's contrast with mylifestyle. I lived in Southeast Asia. Almost, we always keep my mind tradition, custom and politeness. For example, when you have gone to party or welding. You should be wear the clothing tradition. I do not like it so i be wearing it. I can see contrast with a lifestyle in the US. We have our freedom about thinking, doing, wearing,speaking...In my country i always have making with parents control so in there i can do everything. In the US, you can buy anything if you like. You never ask yourparent. If you have living in my country. You need ask when you want to buy something? Why you buy it? Do you need? Why you spend alot of money. Why you do not save a money? I think you need yourparent permit. Another i 'am tiny with this world. I need change my life and style. When i went to The US. I feel everything change in my eyes. The problem in mylife is any hard in future. I try keep going. I can stopped. I can unsuccessful so i belive in my abilily. Finally, in the US is mylifestyle. Anyone worry about my life so i know " what am i doing"?. In the end i should do everything i like. I need change mylifestyle. I do. I will do in future

Hamburger and Bossam

The most and at the same time the least familiar thing in a foreign country may be food. I had already had many American fast food even before I came to America and there was nothing new about American fast food to me when I got in Chicago. But ironically as a foreigner these foods still don't make me feel comfortable whenever I try it. One fast food meal may be O.K., but more than that will be a disaster for my stomack. One of them is hamburger. Strangely we Koreans eat burger-like stuff called bossam. At a first glance hamburger and bossam don't look different, but in fact they are quite different and I will let you know how hamburger and bossam are similar and different and why Koreans do like bossam so much. First, these two foods share many common things. Instead of bread, we Koreans eat rice. To make a hamberger, you put vegetables and meat between the bread, but for bossam we wrap meat, rice and some sauce in lettuce or other vegetables. So the total kinds of ingrients are similar and you can expect somewhat similar taste from both. Secondly, however, hamburger and bossam are quite different. Hamburger uses a fried meat pad but bossam, a boiled meat in marinated water. And we use hot redpepper sauce called kochujang. It is really hot. Furthermore many people like to add some garlics. So bossam can be much hotter and many eastern Asians or some central American like Mexicans will love bossam. Finally, hamburger sometimes is called a junk food because it has too much calory but has little good nutrients. On the other hand, bossam is called a kind of well-being food. First the meat is boiled and it has very low level of colestrole. And people will have various kinds of vegetables and herbs at the same time. So it is really good for many people and it is healthy. So we have got many reasons to try and know each other's food for fun and for health in this melting-pot society.

Fast food and home-cooked meals

My wife and I have been talking about which food is better for health since 5 years ago. Because we have payed attention to health when we aged 40. We found differences beteen fast food and home-cooked meals. First, fast food is more salty than home cooked meals. Most of people like to eat salty food. So fast food sellers make a food which is salty. Salt is not good for human beings. It occurrs many kinds of disease. Second, fast food has more spicy than home-cooked meals. People likes to eat spiced food. Many kinds of spicy is not good for health, too. It hurts the stomach, colon. However, home-cooked meals is not spiced. Because housewife(or husband) pays attention family`s health, she cooks slightly spiced. Third, fast food is so high caloried. High caloried food put on flesh person. But home-cooked meals nearly loe calorie food. In the end my wife and I decided that we will eat home-cooked meals as possibe as we can choose for the health.

Etymology

The word Christmas originated as a compound meaning "Christ's Mass". It is derived from the Middle English Christemasse and Old English Cristes mæsse, a phrase first recorded in 1038.[6] "Cristes" is from Greek Christos and "mæsse" is from Latin missa (the holy mass). In Greek, the letter Χ (chi), is the first letter of Christ, and it, or the similar Roman letter X, has been used as an abbreviation for Christ since the mid-16th century.[12] Hence, Xmas is often used as an abbreviation for Christmas.

Glad to meet you in a class.

Every 2 years passed, We have a holidays. When we have a holiday our family go back to korea to enjoy holidays. My two kids and we are very happy during the korea.

new years day!!!

New years day is the biggest holiday in my country. we can have the longest holiday and meet relatives and friends. also we have tipical new years day's food like dumplin that is called "mandu". all of my familly make "mandu" before the new years day.
When i was young, i waited so much "new years day". the first reason is meeting relatives and second one is making money. i could make a money when i greet for good luck to adult.
i'm not wait new years day any more..
Because, i get 1age after new years day.

Hi, Christmas is coming around!!

Hi, everyone? Glad to see you all in our class. We are all staying in USA for this or that reason. We are kind of aliens, right? But I think that Christmas is so well-known to most of us even when we were in each of our countries. How are you doing in this cold weather? The weather here is a little bit colder than that of my hometown in Korea. In this cold weather we need something warm to heat us in and out.
Anyway we need hope. If you enjoy the coming holiday with others like your family or your
good friends, it will be a blessing for us. And if not, why not come together and have a good time?
what do you want to do tomrrow ?

Christmas in turkey!!

Christmas especially in big cities became a taste of the life of many Turks although they are not Christians. The ones buying Christmas trees are the ones having ID cards with "Muslim" written on carrying bags full of ornaments easily purchased from malls. The trees are ornamented with a festival mood and stay till the first days of New Year. Of course there are so many thinking this new habit as "showing off". However although the ones ornamenting the tree with great pleasure don't know this pine tree ritual's history dates back before Christianity. Its roots are in Anatolia as many mythological figures and rituals still alive today in Christianity

Absolutely Christmas

Ah! Christmas, the biggest holiday of the year. Christmas has both a strong religious and traditional meaning. It has a certain feel, all to itself, that you usually do not feel at any other time of the year. It creates within us, a sense of kindness and concern for fellow man. At no other time are we more generous and giving. It creates a sense of family and belonging. Everyone comes home for Christmas. It A sense of Christmas is a time of family and giving. It is truely a time that comes but once a year. Christmas is celebrated in most countries around the world!
